July Is National Hot Dog Month!!!Celebrate America’s Birthday with Hot Dogs and America’s #1 Mustard
Did you know that hot dogs and mustard were both introduced in 1904 at the St. Louis Worlds Fair? Ever since that time, hot dogs along with Mustard have been an integral part of America’s family summer celebrations – from ballgames and backyard barbeques to picnics and state fairs. In 1915, French’s Mustard made baseball a permanent part of its heritage by incorporating its name into the iconic red pennant we know today.

Now, check out some fabulous recipes...KIELBASA & KRAUT HEROESFor barbecues, place this mixture into a heavy foil pan. Cover and heat on grill 15 minutes. Spoon on heroes just before serving. Prep Time: 20 minutes Cook Time: 20 minute
KIELBASA & KRAUT HEROES
1 tbsp vegetable oil 2 large, red onions, cut in half lengthwise and thinly sliced 2lbs kielbasa, thickly sliced 2 lbs sauerkraut, rinsed and well drained 1 can (12 ounces) beer or non-alcoholic malt beverage 1/2 cup FRENCH’S® Spicy Brown Mustard orFRENCH’S® Horseradish Mustard 1 tbsp. caraway seeds 8 hot dog or hero-style buns
Heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add onions; cook 5 minutes or just until tender, stirring often. Remove from skillet.
Add kielbasa to skillet; cook and stir 5 minutes or until lightly browned. Drain off fat. Stir in onions, sauerkraut, beer, mustard and caraway seeds. Cook over low heat 10 minutes or until most of liquid is absorbed, stirring occasionally. Serve in buns. Makes 8 servings

A quick, easy meal for back-to-school days. To serve for lunch, spoon bean mixture into Thermos®-style containers. Great for serving at picnics, too!Prep Time: 5 min. Cook Time: 5 min.
HOT DOG BURRITOS1 (16 oz.) can baked beans8 frankfurters, sliced 1/3 cup ketchup 2 tbsp. FRENCH’S® Classic Yellow® Mustard2 tbsp. brown sugar 8 (8 inch) flour tortillas, heated
COMBINE beans, sliced frankfurters, ketchup, mustard and sugar in medium saucepan. Simmer about 5 min. to heat through.
SPOON mixture into tortillas, dividing evenly. Roll up jelly-roll style. Makes 8 servings

Free Kids Bowling in Summer

Here’s a great way to get your kids out of the house and doing something active this summer! At bowling alleys across the country, Kids Bowl Free all summer long! Just head on over here and click your state on the map to find a participating location near you.
Note that you will need to sign up your children (even if you have done this in the past) and they will then be able to get 2 FREE games of bowling per day. Each bowling alley has its own start and finish dates and age restrictions, which you will see when you select one from the list. There is also a family pass available for $24.95, which allows adults to bowl with the kids at a huge discount.
Keep in mind that you do have to pay taxes as well as the shoe rental fee, which does vary by location. Out of curiosity, I randomly called several participating bowling alleys and the shoe rentals varied from $2-$3.28 per shoe rental depending on age. As a result, I do recommend that you call your local participating bowling alley to find out the shoe rental cost before you make a special trip.

Dora's Rescue in Mermaid Kingdom: Dora and Boots are at the beach when they find Maribel, a little lost mermaid, who needs to get back to her mommy (voiced by Thalia) in the Mermaid Kingdom. Dora uses her mermaid charm necklace to transform into a mermaid and turn Boots into a sea monkey. Together the three set off on an underwater adventure through the octopus’s garden, past the ocean rocks to Mermaid Cove where Maribel will have to sing to bring all the mermaids together so she can find her mommy.
Benny the Castaway: Dora and Boots are getting ready to have a beach picnic with all of their friends when suddenly a bottle rolls in with a wave. Inside the bottle, Dora and Boots find a note from Benny. His balloon ran out of air on the way to the picnic and he’s stuck on Coconut Island. It’s Dora and Boots to the rescue!
Dora’s Moonlight Adventure: Dora’s taking care of Abuela’s three kitties: Pico, Mónica and Lucky. At Dora’s house, Mami reads Dora and the kitties a story and they all cuddle around their ball of string and fall asleep. When the ball of string rolls out the window and Lucky chases after it, the kitties wake Dora up so she can help find Lucky.
Dora's back and this time it's in her hit Dora The Explorer: Dora's Rescue in Mermaid Kingdom. This sure-to-be family favorite hits the shelves June 26th with a running time of 69 minutes. Be sure to be on the lookout for it next time you're out and about. My family loved it and I'm sure yours would too... it's Dora for goodness sakes! Retail value $16.99.

Dora's Rescue in Mermaid Kingdom: Dora and Boots are at the beach when they find Maribel, a little lost mermaid, who needs to get back to her mommy (voiced by Thalia) in the Mermaid Kingdom. Dora uses her mermaid charm necklace to transform into a mermaid and turn Boots into a sea monkey. Together the three set off on an underwater adventure through the octopus’s garden, past the ocean rocks to Mermaid Cove where Maribel will have to sing to bring all the mermaids together so she can find her mommy.
Benny the Castaway: Dora and Boots are getting ready to have a beach picnic with all of their friends when suddenly a bottle rolls in with a wave. Inside the bottle, Dora and Boots find a note from Benny. His balloon ran out of air on the way to the picnic and he’s stuck on Coconut Island. It’s Dora and Boots to the rescue!
Dora’s Moonlight Adventure: Dora’s taking care of Abuela’s three kitties: Pico, Mónica and Lucky. At Dora’s house, Mami reads Dora and the kitties a story and they all cuddle around their ball of string and fall asleep. When the ball of string rolls out the window and Lucky chases after it, the kitties wake Dora up so she can help find Lucky.
Dora's back and this time it's in her hit Dora The Explorer: Dora's Rescue in Mermaid Kingdom. This sure-to-be family favorite hits the shelves June 26th with a running time of 69 minutes. Be sure to be on the lookout for it next time you're out and about. My family loved it and I'm sure yours would too... it's Dora for goodness sakes! Retail value $16.99.

July Is National Hot Dog Month!!!Celebrate America’s Birthday with Hot Dogs and America’s #1 Mustard
Did you know that hot dogs and mustard were both introduced in 1904 at the St. Louis Worlds Fair? Ever since that time, hot dogs along with Mustard have been an integral part of America’s family summer celebrations – from ballgames and backyard barbeques to picnics and state fairs. In 1915, French’s Mustard made baseball a permanent part of its heritage by incorporating its name into the iconic red pennant we know today.

Now, check out some fabulous recipes...KIELBASA & KRAUT HEROESFor barbecues, place this mixture into a heavy foil pan. Cover and heat on grill 15 minutes. Spoon on heroes just before serving. Prep Time: 20 minutes Cook Time: 20 minute
KIELBASA & KRAUT HEROES
1 tbsp vegetable oil 2 large, red onions, cut in half lengthwise and thinly sliced 2lbs kielbasa, thickly sliced 2 lbs sauerkraut, rinsed and well drained 1 can (12 ounces) beer or non-alcoholic malt beverage 1/2 cup FRENCH’S® Spicy Brown Mustard orFRENCH’S® Horseradish Mustard 1 tbsp. caraway seeds 8 hot dog or hero-style buns
Heat oil in large nonstick skillet over medium heat. Add onions; cook 5 minutes or just until tender, stirring often. Remove from skillet.
Add kielbasa to skillet; cook and stir 5 minutes or until lightly browned. Drain off fat. Stir in onions, sauerkraut, beer, mustard and caraway seeds. Cook over low heat 10 minutes or until most of liquid is absorbed, stirring occasionally. Serve in buns. Makes 8 servings

A quick, easy meal for back-to-school days. To serve for lunch, spoon bean mixture into Thermos®-style containers. Great for serving at picnics, too!Prep Time: 5 min. Cook Time: 5 min.
HOT DOG BURRITOS1 (16 oz.) can baked beans8 frankfurters, sliced 1/3 cup ketchup 2 tbsp. FRENCH’S® Classic Yellow® Mustard2 tbsp. brown sugar 8 (8 inch) flour tortillas, heated
COMBINE beans, sliced frankfurters, ketchup, mustard and sugar in medium saucepan. Simmer about 5 min. to heat through.
SPOON mixture into tortillas, dividing evenly. Roll up jelly-roll style. Makes 8 servings
